The pineapple is grown on the Tropigha Farm in Ghana. The farm is located in Gbefi/Hoeme in the Volta Region and with around 200 employees is one of the largest and most important employers in the region and also the largest papaya farm in Ghana.
As everyone on the farm – office workers, field workers and tractor drivers – is involved in the smooth running of the farm, the XtraPay amounts are paid out equally to all employees on the farm. XtraPay also benefits the Papaya workers.

As a FIELD/ TRACTOR OPERATOR I make sure all field workers are transported to their various plots and all harvest carefully transported to the pack house. I have been working with Tropigha Farms Ltd for 8 months now. I live at Gbefi-Hoeme with my family, I have a son. I like attending to my garden in my free time. I wish to establish a good transportation business. My favourite dish is Akple & okra stew. The recipe is corn flour, okra, palm oil, dry fish, magi, pepper, ginger, onion, fresh tomatoes. As a SECURITY personnelI ensure the safety of the people, equipment’s, products on the farm. Also, I’m responsible for whoever comes in and goes out of the farm premises. I have been working with Tropigha farms Ltd for 3yrs now.
I live at Gbefi-Tornu quarters with my family, I have 4 children. I attend to my garden in my free time. I wish to build a house for my family in future.
My favourite dish is Rice & tomatoes stew, the recipe is rice, palm oil, dry fish, magi, pepper, ginger, onion, fresh tomatoes.
